DPPUL Electronics and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Zhongshan Institute signed an agreement to jointly build an AI laboratory

 

On August 3, 2026, the signing ceremony for the school and enterprise artificial intelligence joint innovation cooperation between Zhongshan DPPUL Electronics Co., Ltd. and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Zhongshan Institute was successfully held in the 3rd floor conference room of DPPUL Electronics. The CEO of DPPUL Electronics, Mr. Liang Jinwen, along with the senior management team, the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Zhongshan Institute, Mr. Zou Kun, and professional teaching staff, attended this signing event.

 

 

With the acceleration of generative artificial intelligence driving industrial transformation, the intelligent upgrade of traditional manufacturing is imminent. DPPUL Electronics has been deeply engaged in the field of emergency lighting for many years, accumulating a vast amount of industrial scenarios and practical data; University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Zhongshan Institute is rooted in Zhongshan and has strong research capabilities, high-quality talent reserves, and complete computing power support in areas such as computer vision, edge computing, and industry large model fine-tuning. Relying on the complementary advantages of both parties' resources, after multiple rounds of in-depth negotiation and discussion, a cooperation agreement was officially signed to jointly establish an entity-based artificial intelligence joint laboratory and implement the self-developed "Fresh Mushroom" AI platform.

 

 

According to the cooperation schedule, in the next two years, both parties will use the joint laboratory as a carrier, focus on the pain points of intelligentization in electronic manufacturing for collaborative research and development, develop AI solutions suitable for the emergency lighting industry, accumulate independent intellectual property rights, and compile a white paper on the intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry; at the same time, they will promote targeted talent joint training and establish an integrated internship and employment channel, striving to create a provincial or municipal-level AI integration demonstration model for the school and the enterprise.

 

 

The CEO of DPPUL Electronics, Mr. Liang Jinwen stated that this cooperation will fill the gap in the enterprise's intelligent research and development, and leverage the "Fresh Mushroom" AI platform to promote the digital and intelligent transformation of the entire production chain. Mr. Zou Kun mentioned that the school will fully leverage its disciplinary advantages, precisely match the actual production needs of enterprises, promote the implementation of cutting-edge scientific research results, and achieve resource sharing and mutual benefit between the school and the enterprise.
